RAVENSTHORPE STUDENTS WINS LOCAL COMMUNITY PROJECT
Ravensthorpe community project winners
Ravensthorpe Primary took part in a community project organised by Highways England and Grahams Civil Engineering to design posters for the hoarding board during the construction of the new Longthorpe foot bridge on the A47.
We are delighted that 2 students from Ravensthorpe were picked as winners for their artistic flare and their designs are now showcased on the hoarding boards around the Longthorpe foot bridge construction. Each of our winners received a goody bag and an Amazon voucher and took the short walk to see their fantastic work on display.
Ravensthorpe Headteacher Ms Bowyer said "This was great opportunity to work collaboratively with the Highways England and Grahams Civil Engineering to engage the students into local projects, and I am extremely proud that Ravensthorpe students were picked as winners. Our students were thrilled to see their artwork on the hoardings and delighted with their goody bags and vouchers".
