The Secretary of State remits payment by way of grants to the Trust, covering recurrent expenditure and capital for each Academy operated by the Trust. In order for the Secretary of State to make payments to the Academy Trust, the Academy Trust must meet the requirements of the MFA and in each Supplemental Agreement that has been entered into by the Academy Trust and the Secretary of State in respect of each Academy, according to the provisions of the Academies Act 2010.
